Since it is September I thought I should update you on my Wall of Progression

Negative Space Drawing

For a while now I have been intending to do a drawing using negative space but it has taken me a while to make myself do a picture. I have forced myself to do a picture and here it is.

Wall of Progression Update 28/07/2013

It's hard to believe another 2 weeks has gone by. I don't feel like I have done much, at least not enough to warrant another update but never mind that. There are some changes so it might as well be done.

Wall of Progression Update 14/07/2013

It has now been just over 2 weeks since I started this blog and now it is time to have a look at the Wall of Progression.

Emulating the Style you want to be able to do

Whenever people like something that someone does whether it is dressing a certain way, behaving in a certain way or draw with a certain style, they tend to copy what that person does. If they like the way someone dresses they wear similar clothes, if they think someone has a great way of living life they try to live that way themselves and if they like the way someone draws they will copy their drawings and try to draw their own things in that style.

Dice Stack Pen Sketch

Originally I was intending on drawing a still life of some fruit, a classic right? But I wasn't feeling it so I spent a bit of time looking for some other things to draw instead and decided to draw a stack of dice.

Wall of Progression and first 2 images

It has taken me a bit of time to get my first 2 pictures done even though I wanted to start sooner. But never mind I have my first 2 pictures for you and you know what they say 'starting is half the battle'.
