This section is a Tribute to my Childhood giving recognition to all of the various cartoons, comics and video games that have influenced and inspired my own drawings, designs, story ideas and creations over the years.
Pokemon- Pokemania was massive when I was growing up, it came to the UK in '98 having already been around in Japan since '96. It was absolutely huge and if you didn't like Pokemon there was something wrong with you. In addition to the cartoon there were toys, games and comics all of which were as must have. The Japanese style of drawing cartoons (manga or anime) were not seen in our everyday cartoons, this new look was exciting and led to more anime cartoons being shown over here. So it is with Pokemon that my tribute begins, having such a large impact, not only on myself but everyone close to my own age, I feel it a fitting place to begin.
